VI participates in three (3) competitive leagues in the Spring season. Any player who is a member of the VI Pickleball Club may join a team. The number of teams formed each season depends on how many players sign up for each league. 

Players are placed on teams by the Competition Committee according to skill level. 

The league descriptions are as follows: ● PREMIER: Coed, over 55, plays on Saturday afternoons ● BOOMER: Coed, over 55, plays on Thursday afternoons ● WOMEN'S: Women only, over 55, plays on Tuesday afternoons 

Matches are held both at our home courts and away at neighboring communities. It’s usually split 50/50 but may vary each season. Most leagues will have playoff matches at the end of each season. 

We ask that anyone who signs up to join a competitive team, commits to play at least 50% of the matches and attends the weekly team practices (at the discretion of their captain).

The Competition Committee (CC) does their best to place everyone fairly and with like skilled players. If for any reason, you do not agree with their placement, you may request to be moved. The CC will try to accommodate every request as long as the existing roster permits.
